Hi, I’m Robert, and I’m running for Recording Secretary. I’ve been a member since joining state service four years ago. I’m a scientist working in Public Health in medical device and drug safety. 

I’ve previously served our union in various roles for the last two years as district 4 chair, Bargaining Committee member, and the Oakland strike captain. My vision for our union is one where high participation member actions win bigger paychecks and more rights for State Scientists. I am asking for your vote in this election since I believe I can organize Union scientists for the kind of power needed to deliver bigger raises.
